226. THE GIFT OF FREE WILL
The gift of free will belongs to you
It is one of the gifts that will insure what to do.
For in the world you live in now
This gift get short changed somehow.
But if you would like to reap the benefits of its reward
You simply offer up your free will to the Lord.
He will refresh, renew and restore
Even make it better than before.
God knows what is going down on this His Earth
He knew everything even before your birth.
So don’t think the problems you have are impossible to solve
Just offer them up to the Lord and He will teach you how to
evolve.
We must venture away from this sinful land
And rediscover and employ God’s Divine Plan.
For we have the choice of who we will serve
With your free will you determine which you will deserve.
If you encounter a problem you find to hard
Just offer up the whole thing to the Lord.
For when your free will become a gift you will understand why
All other Gifts are yours too when you ask, “Father, May I...”
227.
THE GLORIES OF CALVARY
When you were dead in sin I called your name
I will never abandon you to your shame.
The Love I have for you will never part
No matter the pain you form in My Heart.
I Loved you all the way to the cross
For I care not for your soul to be loss.
The hurt and pain I suffered at Calvary
Was to show just how much you mean to Me.
My child the road Home begins at the cross
It is rooted in the Earth to guide the lost.
Bring your hurt and pain to Me
Then you will begin to learn about Calvary.
Pick up your cross and I will direct you Home
No longer this sinful path you will roam.
Follow Me and I will set you free
To see the glories of Calvary.
Just call My name and I will come to you
And I will show you all that is true.
Your sins were forgiven by My sacrifice
It was the only way I could return you to paradise.
Our Father and I are waiting for you to call
So We can raise you up from your fall.
228.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP
The most important step in life is the turn from sin
For with this one step a new life can begin.
Shadows from the past will be brought into the Light
No longer will I be know as a creature of the night.
My eyes will be opened so my heart can now see
The Beauty from which God created me to be.
Humbling of my heart guarantee’s safe passage within
And there I will find Your Love so a new life will begin.
Forgiveness of my sins is immediate when I truly confess
It is not me, but it is my sins I do detest.
For into His Light the Truth I will now see
The insurmountable Love my Father has for me.
Thank You for the courage to embark upon this deed
As now I have the strength for Your Word to heed.
For now in my Heart I have opened the Door
To be united back into Your Love forevermore.
229.
THE PATH WHERE WISDOM IS FOUND
When Fear of the Lord is understood as Love, Respect and Awe
Wisdom will become your friend now and forevermore.
In coming to know Fear off the Lord you must not be afraid
But come to believe the offer that Christ has already made.
As you display Love and Respect of the Lord as you live
You will find Wisdom is a gift of His to you He will give.
This offer is made to all, but few will try to learn
That wisdom is a gift that you must have to earn.
With wisdom comes a price that you will have to pay
And this is God’s Holy Will you must solemnly obey.
To obey you must part from this world and your foolish pride
And be willing into the wound of Christ side humbly abide.
For when Christ is put forth before you as you go about your way
His Love will teach you how to Love, Honor and Obey.
He will lead you to the path where Wisdom is found
For it is here in His Love that Wisdom does abound.
230.
THE POWER OF ONE
To make a stand for Christ you must first kneel
And offer Him your soul to heal.
His life giving blood will wash you clean
So that no longer will your sins be seen.
He will break from you the chains that bind
And present you with inner strength to find.
You will no longer have to depend on your self alone
For Christ will now call you one of His own.
In the Body of Christ there is power to accomplish each task
For this is where each saved soul will amass.
In Christ we will now have our breath and live
And have what He offers us to give.
He will supply everything that we will need
As long as it is in His ‘Word’ we take heed.
As Christian’s we will gain the Power of One
And avow to have Thy Will Be Done...
231.
THE PRAYER REQUEST
When prayers are requested for another
An honor is bestowed on you like no other.
For your words or now sent to seek God's aid
For a promise or favor that can't be repaid.
The person we are sending these prayers to
Is now presented before God to view.
Our Father this is what we pray
That Your Love will be directed this way.
Please hear this plea we seek from You
We know You will know just what to do.
Your mercy was displayed when You gave us Your Son
So in His name we pray, "Thy Will Be Done".
232.
THE PURSUIT OF WISDOM
The pursuit of wisdom must bring you to the Cross
For there is the only place we can regain what was loss.
Sin caused man to stumble then fall
Only by way of the cross can we regain it all.
Sin separates us from Our Father up above
Christ’s sacrifice is the only way to be restored to His Love.
Seeking wisdom will bring this knowledge to you
It will bring you to the path you must walk through.
We must follow the One who has never disobeyed
For here we will find our sin debt marked “paid”.
No other path will lead you this way
Wisdom will teach you of how Christ to obey.
Once pride and self-glory or laid by the wayside
Always in Christ’s Love you will want to abide.
To repossess that what was once loss
Humbly bring yourself to the foot of the Cross.
233.
THE SEED OF LOVE
THE SEED OF LOVE IS PLANTED IN YOUR SOUL
IT IS UP TO YOU FOR IT TO PROSPER AND BEHOLD.
THIS SEED IS PLACED IN FERTILE GROUND
AND IT IS WITH LOVE THIS SEED IS FOUND.
ONCE CHRIST ENTERS THE DWELLINGS OF YOU HEART
THIS SEED WILL SPROUT AND ITS LOVE WILL START.
BUT THIS SEED NEEDS TO BE NURTURED AND CARED FOR SO
IF IT IS TO BE ALLOWED TO PROSPER AND GROW.
CHRIST WILL TEACH YOU WHAT YOU ARE ALL ABOUT
WHEN THIS SEED IS NURTURED AND BEGINS TO SPROUT.
AS THIS SEED GROWS SO YOUR LOVE WILL TOO
AND CHRIST WILL TEACH YOU ALL YOU NEED TO DO.
ALLOW CHRIST TO GRAFT YOU UNTO HIS VINE
AND HE WILL SHOW YOU A WORLD DIVINE.
FOR THIS IS WHERE WE WERE CREATED TO BE
UNITED TO CHRIST THROUGHOUT ALL ETERNITY...
234.
THE SON OF A JEWISH CARPENTER
The Son of a Jewish carpenter is building a house for you
It’s foundation is laid on that which is True.
The devil has planned a place for you as well
But he envisions your home as a living hell.
One Home is free the other has a price to pay
Which One you choose determines where Eternity you stay.
One is built out of Truth, the other lies
One comes from Love, the other what the devil supplies.
If you want a glimpse where in Eternity you will spend
Self examine your heart, and make note of the trend.
If in your heart you are doing what Our Father has willed
Another room to your mansion He will add on and build.
But in your heart there lies pride and hate
It will be the hell fires of damnation that await.
The choice is yours of where you will live
For free will is a gift that God did give.
Each morning when you arise and do awake
You make the decision on what path to take.
For everyday you are presented a will that is free
And this will provide you your glimpse into Eternity.
The Carpenter is building many mansions, but there is only one
hell
And where you spend Eternity, only Time will tell...
235.
The Soul of The Dearly Departed
I pray for the soul of the dearly departed
And for their loved ones here left broken hearted.
It is hard to know of the joys they obtain
As we are left here with only our pain.
But Faith can bring us to where they are
Even though from this world it is very far.
Christ came here to eliminate this void
And for its illusion to be destroyed.
As Christ lived, died, and rose again
He showed us that death itself was slain.
We will all leave this world to live in Our Father’s court
All done by the Love Jesus has instilled in our heart.
And when we return Home this we will see
That Jesus has preserved our family in Eternity.
236.
THE TREE OF LIFE
God’s Love is not conditioned on the decisions we make
For it is our Free Will that determines the path we take.
God’s Love is an ever constant Thing
He is the Alpha and Omega of Everything.
To come in contact with this Love we must become still
And exercise the very Power of our Free Will.
God has allowed for Himself to be known
As in the Holy Scripture it is shown.
To know the Father you must know the Son
And seek with your Free Will to have His Will done.
The Power of the Will is to reconnect you to Its Source
For at Its Heart you will find God as the driving Force.
Though man willfully sinned and disobeyed
God sent His Son so retribution could be made.
We must constantly seek the offer of Christ’s sacrifice
For this is the only means of being restored to Paradise.
The cherubim’s flaming sword will become still
When we are rejoined into Our Father’s Will.
For whence we are grafted back upon the Tree of Life
It puts and end to the misery of this world’s strife.
237.
THE UNFORGIVING SINNER
The unforgiving sinner is a lonely soul
They seek after Earthly treasures as their goal.
They will accumulate many things of no value
While SCOFFING and say but I have so much more than you.
But an empty vessel you cannot fill
For the more and more you pile on is empty still.
Christ must be the foundation you build upon
For with Him as your base you can add much on.
He will show you how to stockpile riches that will last
He will add value to your life no matter the task.
Without His forgiveness you can afford no Hope
He will show you how in this world you are to cope.
When you seek Christ forgiveness you will be able to see
The real values of this world and how it was created to be.
For Paradise is where man was to abound
Until sin turned everything around.
To escape the punishment and wrath of sin
With Christ you must let a new life begin.
When forgiveness fill a human heart
Christ’s works has begun to start.
And when this forgiveness is passed on from soul to soul
Doing Our Lords will will become a common goal.
When we work in unison as a family of One
Then Christ can say His work here is done...
238.
THE WORD OF GOD WAS WRITTEN FOR YOU
When you finally see that the Word of God was written for you
God will begin intervening and show you what to do.
To understand this it is from this world you must release
And become engulfed in God Almighty’s insurmountable Peace.
Rest awhile and cleanse your soul here
And to God you will draw close and near.
From inside you will feel renewed and alive
The Love deep in your heart will be revived.
The Word of God has Power to set you free
To Live and Love as you were created to be.
You see in His Word lies all your Hope
It will teach you how in this world to cope.
Place God first and have Love for all others
Treat every living Soul as a sister or brother.
His Word was given as a Promise to us
To insure us we have a Father we can trust.
And when we learn to trust in God up above
We come in contact with His Love.
Then when this happens it will be plain to see
How much Love Our Father has for you and me.
239.
TILL THE END OF TIME
The poet yearns to give Love through every poem
The Love is to provide a safe haven from the storm.
When the Love inside you can no longer contain
It must be expressed out for your sanity to remain.
The Love is of God of this the poet is sure
For it is the Kind of Love that will forever endure.
Our Lord has gifted a few with this Love in their soul
It is to come forth for the whole world to behold.
Scoffing will follow from some of that which is penned
But it is only on God’s approval does the poet depend.
We have walked this Earth in wonder why so few can see
That God is the Source of this never ending Beauty.
And so until the poets words do run out of rhyme
We will Praise God’s Glorious Name Till the End of Time.
240.
TO BE CONTENT
Contentment is not a gift to you are me
It is a way of life that we must learn to be.
Contentment comes from a happy soul
One that has found Christ as its goal.
Contentment cannot be found in Earthly things
For there is no Joy in them that they bring.
Joy is a manifestation of the heart
In all actuality it is a work of art.
To be an artist with this kind of flair
You must possess much Love to spare.
Christ is the Source of All Love that is
You must mimic your Heart after His.
When it is Christ's Love you do possess
All who you encounter will end up blest.
If you desire to learn how to be this content
Just follow the example that Christ has sent.
He gave all honor and glory to Our Father up above
He was the perfect example of God's never ending Love...
241.
TO FIND THE TRUTH
To find the truth is easy not hard
You must first realize you are not smarter than the Lord.
To find something that can set you free
Submissive to the Lord must you be.
When you give up the fight you cannot win
You will become more receptive to Him within.
God is not the One who is now with you
For He would never allow you to stay blue.
The Power of Love can set you free
To live life the way God wants you to be.
For the Truth is in the Power of Love
They are both Gifts God gave us from above.
Free will insures a choice will always be
And that choice must be made by you and me.
Any problem will disappear into thin air
When you give your Love and Trust to God’s care.
Freedom is something you can never really posses
Until you offer it to God and He returns it blest.
The Truth will set you free
Free to be Loved by God, You and me...
242.
TO WALK IN HIS LIGHT
If you can tell when evil has entered your life,
than the devil is not doing his job
Because it is with the utmost secrecy he enters
and prepares your soul to rob.
His ways are deceitful, cowardly, and mean
Is it any wonder why he prefers to remain unseen.
He will tempt you to do the things that are wrong
And give you encouragement as he strings you along.
He will give you the notion that you are being quite cool
When in all actuality your playing the fool.
A fool is one who does not learn from their mistakes
He or she thinks there is no other path they can take.
The devil can take you for he is really quite wise
But you must see that everything he presents you is a bold
disguise.
To open your eyes and this how to now see
You must seek the Truth for It will set you free.
Free to break from all of evils control
Free to reclaim the Beauty of your soul.
Beauty is a gift from God up above
It is a true manifestation of His never ending Love.
The Truth is you were created Beautiful in God’s Holy Sight
And you will see this to when you learn to walk in His Light.

WE WALK BY FAITH
As Christians we walk by Faith and not by sight
We have learned to distinguish wrong from right.
For you see we have the greatest Teacher that walked this land
And that is God Himself who incarnated as man.
Born of a Virgin then nailed to a cross
His life’s work was to rescue the lost.
By Faith we are called to walk this same way
To believe and understand every Word He did say.
Faith in Christ is what propels us on our way
To seek out the souls that from His Word did stray.
By His Light we see which way to go
To bring the lost back to Our Father to come to know.
Faith in Christ has all the power we need
To transform our eyes to observe His creed.
When we look to the Cross we will see the way
To God Our Father to Love, Honor and Obey...
244.
WHAT GOD DOES SEE
Faith goes beyond what the eyes do see
To the promises Christ made to you and me.
For those who Love Him salvation is found
In our hearts His love and mercy will abound.
He freely gave up His life to save you and me
From the sins of this world He will set us free.
To except this offer to believe in His Word
Faith must be applied to what is heard.
Christ has told how much Our Father Loves us
We must believe and enter into this trust.
When we trust in Christ with our whole heart and soul
We will come to believe ever Word He foretold.
Faith is a gift to help us on our way
To believe every Word Christ did say.
Christ and faith go hand in hand
To teach us the salvation plan.
God does not want to see not one soul be loss
That is why He offered Christ to die on the Cross.
Christ’s faith in Our Father goes forth past Calgary
All the way to the very heart of you and me.
And this is what our God does see
Do you except this offer Christ made to you and me?
245.
WITH WISDOM AS OUR GUIDE
To have a religious experience one must become wise
And seek God with their heart and not their eyes.
The heart can see things not brought into view
Things that are of God that are directed just for you.
To become wise we must seek out our Dear Lord
And realize He is the fulfillment of our life’s reward.
When we humbly seek God He will always be found
For deep in our heart is where He abounds.
With wisdom as our guide she will show us the way
To find Our Dear Lord each and every time we do Pray.
When knowledge is gained of the Spiritual kind
We begin the process of humbling our mind.
When we realize God as our Heavenly King
Much more of His Love this will bring.
Then we will understand and know why we were created
And that is for our hearts, body, and soul with Him to be mated.
246.
LETTING GOD INTO YOUR HEART
When it is God’s Love you allow into your heart
He will show you how a bright new world will start.
He will take your hurt your sin your pain
And it is there with Him it will remain.
His Love is something we are to learn anew
He will direct us on exactly what to do.
His Life giving Blood will wash you clean
Trust in Him you will see what I mean.
He will take you from this forsaken earth
And return you to your Heavenly Birth.
He will give you new eyes so you will see
His Love will be with you throughout eternity.
He will give you new ears so you will hear
His Loving words that will draw and hold you near.
He will give you new words so you can say
I praise Your Holy Name Father each and every day.
He will give you a new Heart from which you will Love
All the Blessings He sends you from above.
And All this Love was allowed to start
By just letting God’s Love into your Heart.
